Trump is so utterly, plainly detestable that my paranoid side wonders if he is not some kind of decoy or red herring thrown up by Republican overlords to divert us into hating him so much that we miss the evil the more house-broken GOPers are doing in the background.

That stuff can only be done by the executive since Democrats control the House, and it shouldn’t have been done by the executive except for the thanks we have to give to Roberts and the other conservative justices.
