When I lived in Philly, my bands would play the Jersey Shore circuit. Cape May County was a dry county then (dunno if it still is), and you had to use a bridge to enter Cape May. There was a bar called Tony Mart’s right next to the bridge, and it always had a crowd.

We’d arrive at the bar in May, set up, and play the entire summer there. The club had rooms over the bar where we’d stay until Labor Day. Great gig, that was.
