If it is, you’re in for one helluva ride. It’s considered one of the most important anti-war films ever made and one of the greatest WWII films of all time. It’s all one of the most brutal films I’ve ever seen - there are parts of it that make Schindler’s List look like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

No, it’s called Okhota na gaulyaytera (Hunting the Gauleitner.) It’s a miniseries. My only complaint is that the German spoken is dubbed into Belorussian and then subtitled in English. You can find it on Prime. But yeah this is pretty brutal so far. It doesn’t shy away from the fact that there were people in the USSR that collaborated with the Nazis.
