if i understand this correctly, there is nothing in the bill about sec 230.
trump wants it tacked on.

maybe this is obvious to everyone else - if im right about the above, then the real reason for this ‘crisis’ is that congress has become so disfunctional that it cant debate or pass anything - and hasnt.

there are very few ‘must have’ opportunities. this bill, government funding, etc.
and trump’s time is running out

There’s no chance that the bill Trump wants would get through, let alone in the narrow time window left to him. So he’s demanding it be tacked onto this bill, no doubt figuring if Dems vote against the bill once his demand is met, he can then blame them for the military being defunded.
