Just a bit of information, something that your loved one may or may not know, but he may want to approach the low paying job search withe the understanding that that market is as tight as the IT market, even more so.

As most here know, I am a 25 year IT pro, programmer, and the last two years, I have been working part time minimum wage and I have been trying to find full time minimum wage, and haven’t been able to (Denver area).

I am technically competing against my step daughter, who has been looking for the same sort of work for 3 months, and has not found anything.

My point simply being, it’s tough all around, in all areas of employment.

Location, location, location.

Things are looking better. I am seeing more job listings. I got a call from a recruiter for a position, but it’s a 32-mile commute and I don’t think I could handle that.
