That would be a bitch of a call to make, I’m not sure I could make it. I know the following won’t help any, but it’s about the only thing I can think to say. If you do lose it and are able to afford a decent prosthetic, much of your mobility can be retained.

Virtual support over the Internet is pretty thin at best but, unless I misunderstand the atmosphere here, most here are willing to help the best we can, even if that just means listening to you.

yeah I was pretty insecure about the attention, so I have said not too much but what the hell…it’s a technical thing more or less, I’m not dying…I’m getting set, doing research etc, trying to set myself up for the big chop…and my ex is here to help, she’s a RN too…she will move right into the bunkhouse….there is really nothing to hide, but my tough, independent nature has taken a huge hit
