I watched Milk yesterday for the first time, and nothing has changed with respect to the right wing creeps and their arguments.

They were saying the same things in 1977 and 1978: The GLBT people are all perverts, pedophiles and molesters who cannot reproduce naturally so they rape little kids to make them gay.

They keep using that vile accusation because it works on the same level of “So when did you stop beating your wife?” It hits that basic emotional fear we have about kids, and deliberately ties a violated, marginalized group to the most hated class of criminals in America.

And it keeps working.
