I just want to take this apart a little:

As many others have pointed out, an obsessive focus on Putin absolves the Democratic Party from having to reckon with their own failings, as if it was Moscow that tricked Hillary Clinton to not campaign in Wisconsin, or to spend the whole month of August (after Bernie Sanders’s gracious call on his supporters to back her campaign) courting neocons.

First, Trump in JULY asked Russia to hack/steal Clintons SecState emails and publish them. Sure, ‘jokingly’, but it was a joke he repeated, and he sure didn’t seem to be laughing.

Second, Russian puppet Wikileaks dumps DNC emails talking smack about Bernie, right before the Convention.

Third, Trump spends October pushing Wikileaks email dumps.

Fourth, it’s possible to do more than one thing at a time.

Fifth, GRACIOUS?!? He ran as a Democrat, and lost as a Democrat, so it was his fucking DUTY!! And Clinton BENT OVER BACKWARDS to be nice, to be accomodating, to not go more negative than she had to, to NOT dump her Oppo file on him.

So, you know, fuck The Nation.
