The last accessory that I bought for my Specialized Rockhopper was a seat stem with a shock absorber built in. It did the trick for me. Unfortunately I quit riding soon after I bought it and the bike has been hanging in the garage for 15 years. I want to get it rehabbed sometime and get back into riding (in order to rehab myself). I live only two blocks from the trails that run along the Mississippi all through St. Paul and Minneapolis
