What kind of meat is London Broil? Is there a cut called that or is it something else?

London Broil isn’t cut from a specific part of the steer, but it gets the name from the way it’s prepared.
Typically, “London broil” is made from skirt steak, but the name refers to how the dish is made (which isn’t from London or anywhere else in Great Britain at all, but from here in the good ol’ US of A).
