Just reading a local news site. Apparently Lindsey Buckingham has been booted out of Fleetwood Mac. It says he will be replaced by Neil Finn (probably for vocals and some instrumental backup) and Mike Campbell, lead guitar in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

I am not a big fan of the Buckingham Nicks version of Mac, I liked the older versions. But apparently they are doing a big tour this year and ran into some issue with Buckingham who has been on the outs with them before.

I’m hoping they give Campbell a say in what they play on tour. Word I’ve heard is that the rest of the band wanted to do some of the pre-Buckingham-Nicks material and Lindsey refused.

Imagine Campbell and Finn dueting on ‘Albatross.’ It would be lovely.
