I’m back. At least my wife and I weren’t in bed when it happened.

The insurance company was here a couple days ago to inspect after the tornado. I guess we have a leak (there is a significant amount of water in our bedroom now) … I’ll give ‘em another call in the morning.

Good thing we have a spare bedroom.

we had a massive summer storm on Monday, upstairs neighbors got rain through the roof in their apartment, I was spared any damage and really lucked out, was on a hiking tour and had just got my group safely onto the buses back to the ship when the deluge set in, so bad that we had to pull over as there was no visibility and the roads were unable to drain and were flooding
