That would be wonderful! My dad had taught himself to play mandolin and banjo. I tried to get her to try the guitar, but she said that the strings hurt her fingers and she won’t pursue that. But then, she’s only 11 and the fact that she has the wherewithal to practice an instrument without any help from us and have a blast doing it means she might change her mind at some point.
