One more thing about Beto, the best way to completely end his political career would be for him to lose against Cornyn. He would look like he’s perpetually running for Senate, and yet can’t win. Right now, he looks like a Democrat that almost won in Texas. Twice a loser? He’s done.

I don’t think so. If he loses another close senate race, he would be a logical choice for a top Cabinet post in the next President’s Administration.
