That bit from the AL GOP still supporting Trump heavily shows that the rot goes all the way down. They are going to back him despite any revelations that occur and have just backed themselves further into that corner since putting out that resolution now (instead of simply remaining silent or taking a “let’s see” attitude) is simply something else they will to unwilling to step back from since it will be another admission of error.

And never admitting an error is, if anything, the true hallmark of the modern GOP.
