Actually I think our Democracy stopped functioning the first night FOX News hit the TV.

But if you want to go with actual politics, you could choose November 2000.

No, maybe the day Obama was sworn in and McConnell said he would stop him at every turn.

Or, it may have been when Reagan cut a deal with Iran and got the hostages back.

Or,…aww screw it. I wonder if it really has been functioning for a long time now.

But for sure…it won’t be functioning under Trump, Pence and an all Republican government.
