I have more sympathy for the kid in the Phillipines who was caned. Spitting on a sidewalk (or spitting out gum…I don’t recall what) was stupid for the punishment given. Yet that is their law.

This kid was playing with fire and he got burned. He got burned badly and horrifically. But when you talk about the security of a nation compared to a kid, I side with our country.

My recollection is that was Singapore and the kid spraypainted some cars. Or maybe this is something else.
