1 in 3 Americans know someone who’s died from covid19. I figure that number increases if you’re in a densely populated state or in urban areas as compared to rural (though there are notable exceptions to that as some outbreaks were in rural areas - like around meatpacking plants and the like).
I know two people with whom I have met and interacted in real life so far: former musical colleague from AZ and my ex-GF’s father from PA.
