Well, I had to duck out to the general store for a couple things, because it will be closed tomorrow.

The store used to be a combination Co-op and auto garage. The garage part is still empty, and the owner told me he would like to expand his business (since empty space really doesn’t make you a bunch of money).

I asked him what he thought he’d like to put in, and he deadpanned “a strip club.”

I asked if he thought a strip club would make any money in a town of 128, and he said sure, it would draw business from all around the area. He then asked if, since I am on the village board and would have to vote to license such a place, if I would vote for it.

“Sure, I used to be in the Navy, why not?” (I’m not sure if he really is interested in putting in a strip club, but hey, why not.)
