How many of the people on that “free speech week” list have at some point postulated that their opponents’ words are dangerous, and un-American in ways that require retaliation?

Because that list includes people who value only their own free speech, and part of their worldview is that anyone contradicting them is an existential threat to the USA.

That’s really the point - these are actually people who use the idea of free speech to spread ideas that would result in its destruction. And they harass and persecute their enemies to shut down their right to speak. It’s absolutely maddening that people refuse to see what’s going on here.
