My experience with NRA fans is that not a single one really cares about children — or anyone else — who dies from gun violence. Their only concern is that they retain their guns. Their right to play with multiple guns is more important than our right to be safe in public places. They didn’t care about Sandy Hook, Las Vegas and Parkland. They will only use these tragedies as a justification to arm more people.

I do not know if that was satire or trolling or someone’s actual opinion, but it does seem to sum up their approach.
