Aye pretty much. He’s destroyed the State Department. We’re going to need a kick ass Secretary of State and diplomats to undo his damage.

And a Democratic Congress who will facilitate such reconstruction. Since the GOP seems to be completely under the sway of folks whose notions of “diplomacy” require only:

1. A President to issue demands to foreigners.
2. A military to threaten to (or actually) blow up anybody who doesn’t acceed to 1.
3. A few “loyal” State functionaries to deal with the capitulations to 1. and 2.
