This particular piece by McNaughton, Peace is Coming, is somewhat better than his political pieces, being more universal, though still wholly Christian. Of note is that the Scottish soldier in the picture wears the red and blue tartan of Clan McNaughton.

LOL, “somewhat better” is a fairly low bar.

This one creeps me out more than the others. The image of Native Americans welcoming a caucasian Jesus is unbelievably tone deaf, given that many of the atrocities they suffered had a religious undertone to them.
