Honestly, my entire take is that it’d be really hard at this point for something to sweep up Trump without getting to Pence first. Pence was not someone completely disconnected from the scandal like Ford was, who was picked precisely because he was clean. Pence is Agnew in this situation, at best. I just don’t see Pence getting off free if things really hit the fan for the administration.

He either has to be targeted separately and as fully and accurately
and/or the revelation has to be so broad and sweeping that there is no escape for him
