Btw, Pizza-rat isn’t unusual. My pet rat will yank anything out of your hand and drag it away, pizza included. It’s just what they do. Rats grab food and run off to eat it, so other rats can’t take it.

Hey not just rats. My dog does this too. Give her a treat and she will run outside to go eat it in privacy. If the door is closed she will stand there drooling on my hardwood floors with a treat in her mouth until I come over and open the door for her. Eventually if I out wait her she will run down to the basement to eat it.
