There used to be a nice Mom and Pop chain in Los Angeles called EuroCoffee that specialized in high grade Arabica and Peaberry coffees. Only place where you could get pure Kona, Jamaica Blue Mountain and Puerto Rico Peaberry beans.

There were only 4 of their shops. So Starbucks came in and flooded the city with stores and put them right next to EuroCoffee shops and cut prices.

They forced EuroCoffee out of business.

It was nice when the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores entered the Los Angeles market. They managed to knock out a couple Starbucks.

I remember EuroCoffee. They were awesome.
