I cannot imagine the lengths they go to to even try to sustain plausibility of that bullshit. First JFK Jr. was going to ‘reveal himself’ at Trump’s fascist-fest on July 4 (which of course didn’t happen because the man is fucking dead).

I mean, there have always been gullible people. But this is like The Rise of the Super-Rubes.

What upsets me is these idiots are organized enough to get out and vote, whereas the “independents” and Bernie Bros I know are still threatening another 2020 ballot box sick out if they don’t get their way.

I’m really close to doing a massive soapbox on Facebook about Trump’s racist attacks on AOC and company. I grew up going to family parties listening to the all of the “Greatest” Generation and Baby Boomers cackling about sending black people back to Africa, and other repellent shit.

This is what America is now: your racist uncle or grandparent is running the fucking country for all the world to see. And it sickens me to no end. The few times I’ve tried to talk to the fence sitters, it’s either “Eh, it’ll be fine, I’m not being affected” or the usual “Why bother, they’re all the same” Magic Balance Fairy crap.

I should get out and try to canvas or get involved in some other way, but I know myself. I can’t deal with people who think this way. I’d be fired within hours because I have no patience mollycoddling this crowd, which is probably what is needed to at least crack the door.
