It’s exactly like I’ve been saying for a while re:the effectiveness of large demonstrations. It all hinges on actual coverage, and the media has decided well in advance that any such demonstrations are not supposed to be news. Not the way a 3 dozen strong protest for any conservative cause is.

If a tree falls in the woods, and the media doesn’t cover it, it may as well not happen, and social media is not changing that because, as has been pointed out already, a vast majority of the country still gets its news from ‘old media’ sources.

That’s a bit of the dirty secret to conservative social media success. THey don’t dominate the actual social media landscape. They just leverage it to influence TV, radio, newspapers, etc. for maximum effect to where they may as well own the social media landscape.

People will have to post videos to Twitter and Facebook like it’s been done for other marches.
