Again, the problems I’m seeing is that I’m seeing a lot of those younger voters being motivated to spite not the GOP who passed this shit, but the Dems for ‘not fighting it’ or not waving a fucking magic wand to stop it all, and instead withhold their votes as if the Dems’ doom will make the case for progressives stronger. Between that, and the general fact that our system seems hardwired to ensure Dems, even when we win, will never have enough time to fix the damage before we’re given the boot for the country’s rightful heirs in the GOP, that it will only get worse, and worse, before it gets even worse, especially with the courts the way they are for at least a generation and a half.

It literally just feels like we’re in quicksand. And the more we fight, the more we just sink because the country is hardwired for arch-conservatism forever now.

We are not hardwired. We’ve been programmed. We can defeat this BS.

Our enemies have underestimated us. Abortion is more popular than they are.
