If you make, say, $1,000,000 year and still live in CA after prop 30, this tax proposal that both Romney and the Dems like will kill you! With a deduction cap of $28,000, you’d be taxed twice—first at 14.4% and then at 39.5%—on your income. Are the Democrats really so stupid (disclaimer! I’m a registered Democrat) that they don’t realize Romney wants this cap to destroy high-tax blue states?
