I must revisit the past for a moment. I recall the claim being made repeatedly by many on the Right that the reason we Black Americans voted for BO in such large numbers had everything to do with race. It didn’t. It had everything to do with his policies and vision for the nation. I don’t like Baraka for the same reason I’ve never liked Cornel West—-they both are concerned only for themselves. I’ve never felt that they really care about others or what is best for the U.S. That they back Stein, who obviously admires Putin, is a bridge too far for me.
