You wanna march the party further into political obscurity, running the remaining Blue Dogs out of the party is a good start. I may not like Joe Manchin all that much, I thought his remarks before the election of changing parties if the Senate ended up tied were disgusting, but we need guys like him if we ever want to retake seats in red and purple districts.

(D) has to stand for something more than not-(R). The realities of competing in tough states and Congressional districts can’t be ignored, but Republicans pretending to be Democrats aren’t going to help very much.
