The other day I got a call from a blocked number. I decided to answer it out of curiosity, saying “Hello?”

“Hi, is this Timothy?”

Being hesitant to answer “Yes” given that scam which was going around, I ask, “Who is this?”

“Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.”

At this point, I’m actually angry and hang up.

Motherfucker, if you’re going to call and try to get money out of me, don’t fucking call from a blocked number. Second, don’t start your phone calls off like you’re goddamn scammer either.

Whenever I get a call where someone asks for me or asks who they’re talking to I just reply “Regarding?” It doesn’t reveal any info and it puts them off guard, asking them for info before I’ve given them anything.
