This from a Southern California station showed up as a Promoted Tweet on my timeline. Thought that was odd. One of the replies mentioned it too.

Promoted as in “this appeared on the news and the NRA paid to promote it to advance their message of guns everywhere” type of promotion? Does Twitter say who promotes tweets?
