He’s just had his 6th surgery and is in recovery right now. They are talking about sending him home with a wound vacuum and I am terrified. They’re supposed to assign a home health care nurse to come a few times a week, but I am really afraid he’s not ready.

I have discovered I have no fucking friends either. All those thoughts and prayers and bullshit about helping me if I needed something? Oh it is to laugh. I need help with an overgrown yard and all of the sudden those offers to help dried up. Thoughts and prayers aren’t going to plant a garden, clean up tons of tree branches of cut the grass. The Kid can’t do it because his dad never bothered to show him how to use it. My husband helps people all the damned time, often to the neglect of our home. Fuck all these assholes. No one has even come to see him in the hospital except for 2 guys he used to work with. I’m done being nice. It’s been 20 days and 6 surgeries so far. No one fucking cares.
