My brother was in Charlottenburg when I visited in ‘93. Not sure where he is now, but still in Berlin. Nothing like family for the tour guide, or a map and directions, usually.

For about 15 years, he lived out in the country (but kept a place in Berlin), beyond the last train station to the East part, on a commune, with his wife (who he’s not married to, so the state won’t be involved in the relationship) and their two daughters, the older one of which whom just graduated from medical school.

Awesome. I found Munich more fun to visit but I think I’d rather live in Berlin.
