He’s a white boy, from a good family, so clearly this was all youthful hijinks. The girl is just being silly. She should have played along, been a good sport. She might ruin his career, besmirch the family escutcheon, and he’s worked so hard to get where he is - choosing his parents, allowing them to put him into a prestigious private school, etc. Hell, she should be grateful for the attention from such a promising young man!
