Elon Musk isn’t helping matters by going Howard Hughes on us. He needs to go into rehab, or retire to a private island somewhere or otherwise somehow get his shit together. There is a lot at stake here and a lot more people than just him are affected.

I’m so tired of his unhinged egotistical bullshit. It’s obvious what the “funding secured” stunt was all about, he got Tesla’s board to approve a contract that gave him enormous stock options for hitting certain market cap targets, the first one kicks in at $100 Billion, they’re at $48 Billion now. The stunt was sloppy and stupid and the SEC slapped him pretty hard for it. He’s angry that he wasn’t able to make himself rich on hype and has to actually back it up with long term engineering and productivity wins.
