So, got done watching parts 1 and 2 of Chernobyl.

Amazingly well-done. The constant sense of dread and foreboding (especially as we know what happened) makes for some pretty tense viewing.

One of my students from earlier today had already seen it; he called it “the best horror film” he’d seen in years (typically Czech black humor).

I have a feeling that Chernobyl is going to sweep the Emmys and maybe the Golden Globes as well.

It is so well done. I really want to learn more about Gorbachev’s deputy that went with Valery to Chernobyl. I also like how they explain the science.
