Pelosi Sets Spending Demands for Two-Year Budget Deal

Pelosi has to:

- keep the caucus together - ie put on a good face/front for the party

- try to legislate, knowing nothing will get done, thanks mitch

- deal with the budget and debt ceiling, unavoidable

- wrangle impeachment

- and look ahead to 2020

her job is not any one thing - it’s all those things, and more

I started on team Pelosi, but it’s getting hard. She has a lot on her plate, but if the House doesn’t do whatever it can to protect our elections what’s the point? If we can’t help out the most unfortunate people in our country, does it really matter that the trains are running on time?
