It didn’t occur to him to question a system where 50 percent of all fertilized ova, which he believed to be as alive as you and me, were destined to die.

If ova/sperm combos are ensouled at conception, it follows that 70% of souls in the afterlife, in the course of nature, were never born and never had an earthly life.

From which it follows that the Ensouler PREFERS that embryos have no terrestrial life (else why set things up that way?). Therefore, an abortion furthers the Plan and opposing it is against that same Plan.
