re: #196 experiencedtraveller
You have that right. I received a letter from the California State Board of Equalization stating that industry studies indicate a likelihood that this business has purchased fixtures, equipment, machinery, etc. from outside the state. So they want me to review 2006-2008 and report any purchases made without tax paid, provide pages 1-8 of last year’s Federal tax return, copy and submit asset depreciation schedule from past year and purchases journal from last year.
I’m just shaking my head. Like I’m going to purchase buses, fuel, parts or drivers from out of state. Their getting desperate.
