Thing is, unless these morons get violent, I think we should prepare for more disappointment. The odds of prosecutors being willing to charge every single participant are slim, with worry over public sentiment playing against them being a major motivator to just give most involved a slap on the wrist or a pat on the bum to head home. Those they figure they can get concrete charges against will probably face low-grade felonies that will be dropped to misdemeanors on a plea deal (can’t have their guns taken away, lest they scream “tyranny!”), with jail terms turning into probation and fines going unpaid.
That’s beyond depressing. If I did this shit you wouldn’t see me for 20 years or more.
