One thing at a time. Getting rid of Faded Caligula gets rid of the threat of global thermonuclear war because of a presidential* temper tantrum.

That’s progress, even if he gets replaced by Pence who is as evil as any other Republican and more theocratic than most.

The trouble is that under Trump, nothing may get accomplished because he is such a disruptive force. Pence may lead to a smoothly running authoritarian regime that accomplishes its legislative goals. A demented treasonous grifter, a misogynistic theocrat, and an Ayn Rand fanboy — the contenders for the Presidency. Not a pretty picture.
