We should be taking lessons from other countries rather than having an archaeic notion of guns that stems from an amendment that was passed when muskets were the most deadly weapon.

The founding fathers wrote in that the whole 2nd amendment thing should be regulated by the government. It says so right in the amendment.

I can’t stand on the street corner yelling, “Fuck you you fucking fuckers!” at the top of my lungs at all passers by. The government (police) would arrest me, or at least detain me or silence me. Yet there is no mention on regulating free speech in the 1st amendment, but we seem to have no problem regulating it. The 2nd amendment states that this right needs regulation, yet we don’t really have much regulation.
