You have not sufficiently accounted for the mindset of antivaxxers. They are convinced that the vaccine prevents nothing (some of them would say that there’s no disease to protect from, others that the vaccine causes covid), and that it’s being provided in order to do those bad things the bath saves them from. So no, they’re not trying to endanger anyone — they’re too far submerged in the pile of manure that is antivax “thought.”

The ones I know think that “natural” immunity is the best and that for younger people the vaccine is not needed because they will survive the disease and thereby have much more effective protection than this insufficiently tested vaccine. Long COVID is not on their radar; they also don’t believe in masking children because it harms their social development.
