Nope, lost the rental, saved his business. If you can’t collect the rent, the property’s worse than useless. There were other tenants who saw what was going on there, and he feared he’d lose his hold on them.

And yeah, I’ve heard some wild wild stories from my friends who own property. I have an old friend from high school who moved to Fairbanks, and bought up all these duplexes. He’s making a fortune, but he has had to deal with some insane tenants. Some people have the fortitude to invest in property like that. I could not do it. I’m just not hardass enough to deal with bad tenants. :D
