Is it just another wacky theory of mine, or was Rush just better 10 years ago? Let’s not say “good”, or “thoughtful” or “deep,” but better than now. When the pre-internet, pre-big-cable-infotainment “media” was 3 channels, the case for liberal bias was stronger, and he had a bit more of a case to make. When Dan Rather was throwing tantrums and snarking on Bush the Elder, someone needed to question The System. Nowadays, he’s just a sad, bullying, dog whistle blowing performer.
