Christie’s point about getting diagnosed by a doctor who has only seen video of him is a valid point though. It’s half-assed for the doctor to make statements with only that information. Smacks of the Terri Schiavo case in that regard.

I’d agree with this — he did also say:

If she wants to get on a plane and come here to New Jersey and asks me if she wants to examine me and review my medical history, I’ll have a conversation with her about that. Until that time she should shut up.”

To my eyes, this is the key point. I have to agree with him, we have too many “experts” in the world (despite unassailable CVs) who weigh in based on observation through the teevee. Not responsible, IMO.
