I’ve been following the Italian news, as you know, and it seems that as time goes by, the average age of fatalities is dropping, and the sex ratio is also getting closer. Maybe younger people and women just take longer to succumb. I’ll keep checking those reports.

I don’t expect it to stay at 75/25, for sure, but in China there was a small but persistent lean towards male being a risk factor.

Now, there are quite a number of potential OTHER components that would need to be teased out to say that being male is 100% the cause of this versus, say, higher rates of tobacco use or high blood pressure or whatever.

But in the meantime I do all the errands, being the younger and female half of this household.
